Playing golf in Schönborn immerses you in Austrian history and tradition at every step.The magnificently renovated castle, now accessible to the club, was constructedfrom 1712 to 1717 by Lukas von Hildebrandt as a summer residence for the then Reich Vice Chancellor Friedrich Karl von Schönborn.
Opened in1989, the golf course stretches across the 104-hectare castle park, combining sport and nature experience. Unlike many other golf courses, the landscape herewas not artificially shaped, but was used optimally utilized as it naturally exists.
The stylish atmosphere of the castle and its park also defines the club’s character.
